Node Description and Purpose
The Landmark node is a special type of object node. It only shows up in the 3D Preview - it doesn't show up in final renders. The Landmark node can be useful for marking points of interest in a scene. It can also help with judging scale and distance.

The quickest way to place a Landmark is to context click in the 3D Preview where you want the Landmark to go and then choose "Copy Coordinates". This copies the location of the terrain under the mouse. You can then paste the location into the Landmark's position param using the param's Copy/Paste button.

If you want to quickly move a camera to a Landmark location you can choose it from the "Snap to object or shader" menu in the 3D Preview. You can see this menu by context clicking in the 3D Preview or clicking on the Reset Camera button below the 3D Preview.
